As all Smartphone manufacturers on the market lay on account of larger-screen displays with less quality, Apple’s CEO Tim Cook suggested the fact that the company is able to develop larger-display screen accompanied by increased performance. The chief executive does not exclude the fact that the Fruit Company might experience a growth of its traditional size for the iPhone line.
Analysts expect that the well-debated iPhone product and namely the iPhone 5S will reach the market only in September or October. In the same time, a new SmartTV will be revealed at the end of 2013 while the famous smartwatch will be produced only in 2014. On the other hand, the expected larger-screen iPhone will only be revealed next year.
These assumptions were only some comments analysts withdraw from Tim Cook’s statement regarding the company earnings after the first quarter on 2013. In order to make things clear, Cook never mentioned the fact that the company plans to reveal the iPhone 5S, the SmartTV, the smartwatch or a mobile payment service. What he did say concerns the “hard work on some amazing new hardware, software and services that we cannot wait to introduce this fall and throughout 2014”.
With more than 6 years of history, the iPhone remains the Apple’s more important product, which offers increased sales for the big Fruit Company. In the same time, the device “is no longer a rocket engine propelling Apple to spectacular growth”. Within the first quarter more precisely from January to March, the company sold more than 37.5 million iPhones, which represents a growth of around 6.5 percent more than the same quarter in the previous year.
On the other hand, Apple has worthy enemies in the smartphone field, rivals that offer low-priced devices running on Android. As it was expected, the competition is becoming better and improved, and Apple finds it difficult to compete with low prices and a multitude of devices. However, this does not represent the end of the iPhone era; moreover now, when the Cupertino-based company is expanding its marketplace in China. In the east part of the world, three-year old iPhone 4 is more than popular. Lower prices for older iPhone devices help the company to acquire a higher number of users and customers.
As far as the Apple portfolio for the next year is concerned, everybody knows that the Fruit Company has a perfectionist character. When Cook hinted over the next line of innovative products and services, people expect a relative high number of devices, which will present a different perspective. Since Apple focuses mainly on preserving its trademark, perhaps a new design change will be more than welcomed by customers from all over the world.
