New Apple TV to be released on September 10

Up until now, all the discussions and talk has been about iPhone 5S and budget iPhone 5C, both of which are expected to be announced for the first time on 10th. However, the analyst’s speculations suggest another product that Apple is planning to reveal. The humble Apple TV, a longtime-called hobby for Apple, has been growing in features with each software update.

Various sources confirm the fact that the Fruit Company already received a shipment on August 25, containing a “Set Top Box Communication Function”. The shipment was coming from BYD Precision Manufacture in Shenzhen.

Moreover, a week before the shipment arrived, a similar shipment was spotted, this time labeled as “Set Top Boxes”. However, this does not mean anything in particular, nor it does confirm the rumors. There is something that the Cupertino-based company is preparing for the well-awaited September 10th event, and it is not all about the two iPhone handsets.

These two shipment records were discovered using the Panjiva Shipment Search. The company found the original bill of landing data from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Based on this information, Panjiva suggests that the size and shape of the shipments is still unknown, but there is definitely a top secret product that is about to be unveiled on September 10.

In the same time, Panjiva’s report focuses on the fact that the Fruit Company has received similar shipments of “set top boxes” in the past, more precisely on December 5, 2012, and those shipments came from Hon Hai, Apple’s partner.

Apple is going to host another iPhone release event in China, scheduled on September 11th, where the company is expected to announce the new iPhone for China Mobile. Until official confirmations, Apple users and fans will have to wait until September 10’s event to see what the giant tech is planning to unveil.
