The final version of iOS 9 was released by Apple in the mid of September. The initial 9.0 release was quickly followed by an update, the iOS 9.0.1 and then 9.0.2 in late September. In mid-October, nearly a month after Apple first introduced the iOS 9 to the public; Pangu Team surprised everyone by revealing a fully untethered jailbreak for iOS 9.
Called Pangu 9, the jailbreak utility will help you jailbreak your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch running iOS 9, iOS 9.0.1 or iOS 9.0.2. Bellow, you will find all the information you need in order to perform a successful untethered jailbreak on your iOS 9.x.x running device.
Pangu 9 supports all iOS devices capable of running iOS 9, and the list includes even the latest iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus. Full list of supported devices is as follows:

- iPad 4/3/2
- iPad mini 4/3/2/1

Before you start the actual jailbreak process, you need to backup all of your data to either iTunes or iCloud. If you upgraded your device to any version of iOS 9 from on Over-the-Air update system, make sure you first restore to a fresh version of iOS 9.0.2 from iTunes. If you do not perform this step, the most probably jailbreak will fail.
In the same time, you need to have the latest version of iTunes installed on your computer. Since Pangu 9 is only available for Windows, you need to have access to a Windows-based computer in order to start the process.
