iOS 6.0.1 Untethered Jailbreak Release is Imminent

You all know that tethered jailbreak is available for older A4-based devices such as iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 or iPod Touch 4th generation. In the same time, a possible jailbreak for newer ones such as iPhone 4S, iPhone 5 or iPod Touch and iPad 3 and 4 is debatable. Rumors suggest that sooner or later, developers will find a way to cover all those newer devices in what concerns the jailbreak process.

Apparently, all these rumors belong to a veritable developer, which deals with the jailbreak process for all newer devices. I know that it is quite news but it is not that hard to believe that developers eventually found a new way to deal with all those new devices. In these conditions, this will be the first jailbreak for iPad 3 and 4, iPad Mini and iPhone 5. However, since millions of units are sold all over the world, I am sure that many people will want to start jailbreak in order to obtain full freedom and control over their devices.

I wish that this news would be about a full untethered jailbreak, but unfortunately, so far, all we have available is a tethered jailbreak for older A4 devices. What lead people to think about a new jailbreak might be considered to be the tweet posted by a famous jailbreak hackers and namely the p0sixninja (also known as Joshua Hill) who admitted that the found a BootROM exploit for all new devices. I know that this news will bring joy for most of you who are eager to perform untethered jailbreak on your device.

Here is what p0sixninja posted on his Twitter account“BootROM and decryption keys for A5/A5X/A6/A6X” Okay, that’s definitely bigger, MUCH BIGGER.”

Let us hope that soon, they will come up with bigger news. We all hope for an untethered jailbreak as soon as possible.
