Gmail 2.0 Major Update for iOS Devices Is Now available for Download

Soon after the Android update, the big search engine focused their attention on the Apple side. They soon planned to release a new update specially designed for the iOS devices, and namely the Gmail 2.0 version. So if you enjoy using the Google on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch, I am sure that you will love the fact to use a newer version instead of the old one.

Gmail 2.0 brings several improvements and updates for the service and I am sure that you will notice all those major changes. For example, the most important thing is the fact that you can switch up to 5 accounts on a single device. This is great especially when you have a big family with multiple needs. You will definitely notice the easiness of browsing through out messages or mail in a quick way. There will be no other problems with organizing, archiving, labeling, starring, deleting and reporting spam to any of your message or mail. Another notable change is concerned with all attachments. You can send or receive attachments to your mails or messages. In this way, you will share your experience with your friends more easily.

The new Gmail 2.0 for iOS will be able to auto-complete contact names as you type from your Google contacts or your phone. The whole mail experience will be much more different from what you were used to in the past. Now, you have many more opportunities creating or customizing emails with custom scribbles.

In the last part, I will also want to mention the fact that you will be notified of receiving a new mail fast, with multiple options concerning the notification center, badge and lock screen. For those of you who want to download and install Gmail 2.0 on their iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch, the application is available in the App Store as a universal app and it supports both iPhone and iPod quite well. You do not have to worry about anything because the Gmail 2.0 app is free of charge.
