One of the important changes in iOS 10 is that Control Center was transformed into a floating window. If you miss its edge-to-edge appearance as it was in iOS 9, there is a new free jailbreak tweak called CCNoFloating by Pax Cex that will bring that look back to your Control Center.
Once the tweak is installed on your device and is enabled from its preferences pane in your Settings app, you will be able to enjoy again the edge-to-edge Control Center interface just like you did before iOS 10. The tweak is really amazing as it keeps all other iOS 10-only features of the Control Center, such as rounded corners and colorful toggles. You will still be able to swipe through the pages of your Control Center, while all of them will have the iOS 9 edge-to-edge aspect.
CCNoFloating works perfectly on jailbroken iOS 10 devices and can be downloaded from Cydia’s BigBoss repository.
From a user perspective, having the chance to keep our favorite iOS characteristics and features as they are if the updates don’t actually improve them is essential. Thanks to the jailbreak community and all those stunning tweaks out there, almost everything is possible on iOS now. CCNoFloating is one of those tweaks developed to keep iOS device owners happy when Apple’s updates fail to satisfy their demands.
