During time, with each iOS version revealed by Apple, people faced various problems and bugs. However, Apple tried to fix all those problems by releasing a different and an improved version. In the same time, jailbreak developers tried to keep up with Apple and they updated their jailbreak tools as well. In this respect, Evasion 1.5 was now released, and it includes an updated Cydia package list and improves boot-up time.
With the new iOS 6.1.2 available for download, the Evad3rs team updated Evasion to v1.4 in order to offer untethered jailbreak for freshly iOS 6.1.2 updated devices. However, as you know, the booting time was quite long, and you were advised not to interfere in the process while the tool does its job. The new version of Evasion and namely the Evasion 1.5 is meant to deal mostly with the boot-up time. In this way, when you use Evasion to perform an untethered jailbreak, you will not have to wait that much time before the process of jailbreak is completed.
In the same time, Evasion 1.5 also brings an updated Cydia package list. This means that the Cydia package problem some users faced in the past is no longer a problem. A few days ago, Evasion untethered Cydia package has been updated, and the problem was solved. The new Evasion 1.5 does pretty much the same thing, but it is meant for your desktop.
However, I am sure that there are many of you who have not encountered any of these problems while jailbreaking with a previous version of Evasion. In this case, you do not need to download the new version to start untethered jailbreak all over again. Evasion 1.5 is designed only for iOS 6/6.1/6.1.2 iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch that face the long booting problem and the Cydia package issue. In the same time, if you encounter any other problem with your jailbroken iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch, keep in mind that Evasion 1.5 will not fix it for you. It deals strictly with the long booting time problem and with an updated Cydia package list.
