The iH8Snow team has recently upgraded their iFaith tool to version 1.5.8, in order to offer support for newer devices with A5 processor and to fix all previous bugs.
The iFaith tool is a powerful tool developed by iH8Snow, which allows users to save SHSH blobs for the latest Apple firmware, in this case the newest iOS 6.1.3, and it is compatible with all older iOS devices. In the same time, the tool allows you to create a custom firmware for a possible downgrade. To make things even clearer, when Apple releases a new iOS version, jailbreak is no longer possible. In this case, if you still want to use a jailbroken device, you need to downgrade your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch to previous firmware. As I stated earlier, the bad part with iFaith is the fact that the tool is compatible only with older devices such as iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3, the original iPad and iPod Touch 4G.
Nevertheless, the iFaith tool has now been upgraded to 1.5.8 version with support for iOS 6.1.3. The tool does not bring so many essential features and improvements. The only notable thing is the fact that it offers support for devices with A5 processor. In order to make things clearer, iFaith 1.5.8 fixed the “when iFaith tried to hook USB on iPhone 3,2 models “ bug. Many iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS users encountered various problems when trying to downgrade iOS 6.1.3 to iOS 5.1.2 or iOS 6.1.2. The updated tool brings bug fixes for all these problems.
Once you download iFaith 1.5.8, you need to run the tool as administrator. When the tool is launched, you will be able to see four options, which you can use to save SHSH blobs, downgrade iOS 6.1.3, enter the DFU mode and uploading saved SHSH blobs on server. It is worth mentioning the fact that the tool is compatible only with Windows operating system. Head over to our Download iFaith page in order to download iFaith v1.5.8.
