I know that almost of you are aware of the existence of Evasion, the jailbreak tool. In the same time, I am sure that over half of jailbreakers in the whole world already used Evasion in order to perform untethered jailbreak on their iOS 6.1 devices. However, since the first Evasion version displayed certain bugs and problems, the Evad3rs team considered releasing Evasion 1.2 jailbreak for iOS 6.1 / 6.0.1 / 6.0.
With a previous update of this successful tool, the Evad3rs, the team behind it, decided to release the Evasion 1.2 in order to fix all those problems and errors that the Evasion 1.1 failed to solve. As you all know, the previous two versions showed a couple of errors with the Weather app, Cydia failed fetching packages and in some cases, the long booting problem. Now, the team released the update to the Evasion untethered package in the Cydia Store and users are able to download and install it on their devices.
One of the most important changes that the Evasion 1.2 is offering us beside the already mentioned ones is the over-the-air update error. As you now, users who updated their firmware using OTA method, had encountered certain problems. The issue was regarding the annoying error which prompted the users by receiving available updates messages. The Evasion update was meant to fix this problem as well. This also means that when the iOS 6.1.1 will be available, you will no longer be notified by this issue. Another important issues that then new update is dealing with is the automatic date and time error that some users encountered.
However, just to remember, I want to tell you that Evasion is a jailbreak tool which performs untethered jailbreak on all devices and in the same time, it offers support for Windows, Mac and Linux. Evasion 1.2 jailbreak for iOS 6.1, 6.0.1 and 6.0 is out and it tries to implement all these changes to all newly jailbroken devices. I am sure that there are many users who waited for this update to be released in order to solve the previous bugs before starting jailbreak on their iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch.
