Evasi0n for iOS 7 Untethered jailbreak was released a couple of days ago, and since then, almost all iOS 7 users have downloaded and started the jailbreak process. However, the tool was blamed to bring various bugs and problems, especially in what concerns Cydia Store. Apparently, Jay Freeman did not have the time to prepare his app platform to support the iOS 7 jailbreak.
Besides this, it appeared that those who had Chinese set as the default language were seeing a third-party app store installed as default, instead of the regular Cydia app. The respective app store called TaiG was full of piracy. There were a lot of cracked apps which caused users plenty of problems.
In order to fix all these problems that appeared after Evasi0n 7 iOS 7 jailbreak, the Evad3rs have updated their jailbreak tool to version 1.0.1 both for Windows and Mac. The new version removes the controversial Chinese TaiG App Store from the install package. According to Pod2g’s tweet “Evasi0n 1.0.1 is available on http://evasi0n.com. TaiG has been removed from the package.”
For those users who already performed jailbreak on their iOS devices using the Evasi0n 7 jailbreak tool on a non-chinese device, there is not need to start the jailbreak process once again. Since the update is meant only to remove the Chinese app store if you do not use your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch with Chinese set as the default language, then, there is no need for you to download and install Evasi0n7 1.0.1.
A second tweet posted by Pod2g suggested that the third-party Chinese app store was not completely removed on all devices. It looks like the iPad 2 boot loop issue is still not fixed in v1.0.1. However, developers will fix the problem as soon as the holiday period will pass.
