Apple to Launch Next iPhone at September 10th Event

According to the latest rumors, Apple is planning to unveil the latest iPhone model on Tuesday, September 10. The report confirms only the release date, which was scheduled on September 10, and no mention about Apple’s two different iPhone models, the iPhone 5S and the cheaper iPhone model.

The release comes at an important moment for Apple, despite the fact that the iPhone 5 still captures the public’s attention. The global market is eager to discover multiple low-cost devices, such as Android devices, and the only way in which Apple would be able to compete with it is by releasing a new cheaper smartphone.

Apple to release iPhone 5S on September 10th

Multiple rumors have surrounded the release of the upcoming iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C, the low-cost device. Besides the usual kinds of camera and processor enhancements, some critics suggest the fact that the new device will reveal a fingerprint sensor since Apple purchased Authentec last year.

In what concerns the lower cost iPhone models, rumors never cease to appear. Apparently, the new device will have the same internal components as an iPhone 5, but it will display a colorful outer enclosure made of plastic while replacing the well-known aluminum and glass casing, present within all later iPhone models.

What seems to capture everybody’s attention is the fact that the cheaper device will come in various colors such as white, bright shades of red, yellow, green and blue. This means a huge turn for Apple. So far, the Fruit Company has revealed only black and white models for its iPhone devices.

As it is expected, any new iPhone to be revealed in September will be running on iOS 7, which has been in testing since Apple’s WWDC in June. The new firmware will offer a completely different design of the overall look of the iPhone’s menus and icons while displaying multiple other features such as improved notifications, better photo-organizing abilities and additional capabilities for developers.

It is worth mentioning the fact that this release is a part of a well-scheduled Apple pattern. So far, the Cupertino-based company unveiled a new software update at its June developer conference, tested it for a couple of months and then released it along with  new hardware.

The iOS update is not designed for newer models only. Users with older devices will be able to take advantage of all those changes and improvements that the new iOS 7 will bring to their devices. Apple has already revealed the fact that many iPhones, iPads and iPods Touch models will be compatible with the new iOS 7.
